Artists & Creatives
Sarah Lewis is a graphic designer and illustrator. Raised in Nottingham before studying Graphic Arts and Design in Leeds. She followed the bright lights of the big city and has lived and worked in London ever since.
Some of Sarah’s first jobs were in the music industry, working for design studios on album artwork for Island Records and Mercury, alongside other labels. She has worked on graphics and set design for theatre companies including Punchdrunk and Manchester International Festival and spent a good portion of her twenties working for festivals, including Bestival, Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party and Latitude. She has an eclectic taste in music - growing up listening to her parent’s classic R&B and rock and roll albums before discovering clubbing and electronic dance music. She plays the ukulele and flute (both badly) and once sang and wrote songs for a band who played a grand total of three gigs before breaking up.
Alongside freelance graphics jobs Sarah runs Alphablots, designing graphic gifts and greetings for kids and colour loving grown-ups. Oh, and she also teaches roller skating.
